The path SAP intends. Brownfield conversion keeps your processes and history; greenfield is a chance to redesign. Most programs take 18-30 months.
- 2Buy extended maintenance
Pay a premium for SAP support on ECC 6.0 EHP 6-8 until the end of 2030. It buys time, and the decision is still waiting at the end.
- 3Move to third-party support
Lower annual fees and the freedom to stay on ECC, but with fewer updates and less help with legal or tax changes.
- 4Leave SAP
A small share of companies weigh a different ERP. It is the biggest change of the four, and usually the costliest.
